The deans are full-time advisors, mentors, and advocates who focus on students’ social-emotional well-being and academic success. At Avenues, the deans provide individualized support for students in grades 6-12 as they make the transition from childhood to young adulthood and help prepare them for their own unique future—whether that’s counseling them through the college process or readying them for another path. Deans also work closely with faculty and act as the point person between the school and a student’s family.

Small World is our learning program for children aged between 18 months and 2 years old. As a first school experience, Small World is designed to ignite curiosity, stimulate creativity, and sow the seeds of multilingualism with daily exposure to English. Small World lays the foundation for school readiness by developing important skills including independence, flexibility, and self-regulation; students also learn how to take care of their classroom environment and one another.
