An experienced finance and corporate development executive, Matt has served in a variety of roles since first joining Avenues in 2014, supporting Avenues’ growth from one location in New York to a global network of campuses serving more than 4,000 students globally. Most recently, Matt held the position of global treasurer and vice president of finance and strategy, in which he led efforts to develop new campuses, including real estate strategy, partnerships and financing. 

Prior to joining Avenues, Matt was vice president at LLR Partners, a growth-oriented, middle market private equity fund. In that role, he helped to lead the education and business services practice. Earlier in his career, Matt worked in investment banking at Stifel Nicolaus and Legg Mason Capital Markets.        

Matt earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
